the better team didn't win !

The glamorous night of april 25 , 2010 , the final of DLF IPL season 3, an exciting match between between two epic teams , the 'mumbai indians' and the 'chennai super kings' . Well, for you it might be that way, for me it was just another dreaded night , the night before my final semester exams ! in-spite of that i was able to catch up on quite a bit of it . Though now i regret it, as studying might have been a better option at least would have fetched me a few marks , now i'm just left with hard feelings for 'dhoni'. i am getting a feeling of nausea while admitting this but still i 'll have to admit that chennai super kings were the better team last night . But that said i will not rule out the possibility that this match, like many others could have been fixed ! now stop raising your eyebrows , just kidding and c'mon IPL deserves at least this much of flak because of the famous (or should i call the infamous) Mr. Lalit Modi . I have also heard that 'dhoni' was using a pandit , , i thought these guys were promoting fair play ! i am also doubtful that many of there players are under steroids, especially 'hayden' , only mammoths look that way ( ways ,its ironic that a mammoth is playing with a mongoose bat ! ).I tried mailing ICC for conducting a dope test but till now they 're not taking me seriously (next time i 'll address myself as Mr. Barack Obama,then we 'll see, after all that 'dude' commands some credibility) i guess by now i have expressed my disappointment on chennai winning the 'not so coveted trophy'. Ignoring this, if we ananlyse this tournament ,surprisingly it was not a total disappointment. As the highest run scorer was the 'god of cricket' ,the greatest of all - Sachin R. Tendulkar . Also the top 3 teams were having Indian Captains .Well, these facts do bring a smile !
Now for the few Chennai supporters who will be criticising this to the core , well beat it losers , it was just a fluke that 'Chennai' won and don't get any excited you are not getting anything . Wayz why were you supporting 'Chennai' in the first place , who on this face of earth will go for 'dhoni' over 'Tendulkar' . even if you were born in 'Chennai' you were an Indian first , i will any day support Mumbai over Punjab though i have no links with mumbai whatsoever but there 's that respect for 'tendulkar' . How can you completely ignore how many great moments that man has given to our country. anyways its over now ! But wait, a better one starts, now just wait and watch what happens of Mr. Lalit Modi (this one's far from over) It will be a real lot fun witnessing Mr. Modi give all his funny excuses and dramatic statements . i bet we all are going to enjoy that . amen !

dr. tharoor's fiasco

Dr. Shahshi Tharoor , one of the rare indian politician who was able to gain my respect . The man we 're talking about has faced politics at the highest level. He was deputy secretary general of the UN under Mr. Kofi Anan , and then he contested for the post of secretary general against Mr. Banki Mohan. This proves the mettle of that man and it shows that this guy has an idea about what he 's doing. This is just an introduction about Dr. tharoor , i can make this blog about his achievements but its moreover about the injustice against him . Its a sad day for the country if a person of his caliber has to resign , these are the kind of people who make a difference at the top . The charges that are laid against him by the opposition are not even proved but he was forced to resign by the congress just to maintain there 'reputation' . Congress would have got my vote if they would have stood up for their man , but these good for nothing sociopaths are too coward to support him . I agree that corruption is the one of the principal reasons for the relatively slow growth of this country but there were better ways to handle this situation . If it was about the corruption, what about those highly placed people who have swallowed infinite wealth without any hard work and 're living comfortably, for starters i can float a few names like mayawati , laloo prasad yadav ( we all know what they 're famous for ! ) and this is just the tip of the ice berg . The only problem with Dr. Tharoor is that he is 'diplomatically' incorrect , if you ask me its not that much of a problem as much as it is an attribute , even his tweets were candid enough, the way they should be and it is being lumpish to create a controversy over it . i feel disgusted at these blatant actions of our government and this increases my hatred towards indian politics ..
